Our group of 6 had nothing but praise for our tour with Tour in Greece. They were very considerate of limitations of our members and made certain that we all got to have the best experience on our tour with our guide Sofia. She was very patient with us and answered every question we had with answers that we all understood. In addition to taking us to the well known sites in Athens, she took us to have a fabulous lunch. We have been home for a bit and I still get rave reviews of the tour, especially the changing of the guard.
Maria was an exceptional guide for our day in Athens. We also had Anthony as our driver and he added some great commentary and humour to our day. The acropolis and Parthenon was a highlight and Maria had great knowledge and insights to provide and was able to engage with our whole family (including 4 kids aged 15-19). We also went to the Acropolis Museum which was great to see the preserved original sculptures, facades etc and make the linkages with what we had already seen. The city tour was also great.
George was very responsive and helped us book a tour of Athens. Our guide and driver were friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. We saw everything we wanted to and more in comfort. This really is the only way to see Athens; let Efi and Alex worry about the routes and logistics, they will get you to the front door and skip all the lines while doing so. There will be plenty of walking at each sights, don't walk between sights as well. Highly recommended!
We had a great day with Sofia at the Acropolis and surrounding neighborhood. We especially enjoyed her insight while touring the museum. If you're short on time, this is a great walking tour in Athens and Sofia is delightful!
If you are looking for a true scholar that can walk you through the ruins and artifacts of Athens, then Efi is the guide you want. She is knowledgeable, speaks excellent English, and was exceptionally efficient with time. We went to Acropolis, The Agora and the Acropolis Museum, we also saw the changing of the guards, the Olympic Stadium and many other "must see" sights while in Athens. And our driver, Vasili, was equally excellent and spoke perfect English. This is a MUST HAVE team for touring Athens.
