Corinth-Mycenae-Nauplio-Epidauros Day Tour
Overview
In this tour you will explore the Peloponesse, an area that has to offer many evidence from different time periods and some of the most picturesque towns. The tour starts from Athens, following the coastal highway we will reach the Corith Canal. There we will have a small stop to see the canal closer. Next follows the village of Ancient Corinth which is only a few minutes far. The village is developed around the Roman Forum of the old city and still preserves its authentic character. We will spent some time in the site of Corinth to see the temple of Apollo and visit the Museum. Next stop will be Mycenae, a unique UNESCO site known as the place that king Agamemnon lived. Tghe site preserves the Treasury of king Atreus and of course the famous Lions Gate. After visiting the site and the Museum we will stop at Nauplio, one of the most beautiful Greek cities by the sea that once was the capital of Greece. In Nauplio you will have the opportunity to walk through the narrow streets of the old city and enjoy a Greek launch. Our last stop will be Epidaurus. This place is known for the sanctuary of Ascleipios (the god of medicine) where is still standing the best preserved ancient Greek theater. After the visit you can relax during the drive back to Athens.
